    5 Stars all the way! Absolutely beautiful home. Well laid out and loved the outdoor eating area. Super convenient to the beach…just steps away! The pool was well appreciated…provided some shade and the water temp was perfect. The house manager, Manfred, was a joy and was very responsive to any questions that came up throughout our stay. We’ve already recommended this home to friends back in the states. We hope to return sooner than later!

    Our stay in Casa Bonita was absolutely magical. The home was exactly as presented in the airbnb listing. We loved the fact that most of the bedrooms included a bathroom. We really appreciated Casa Bonita’s proximity to the beach — make sure to catch all the sunsets. The home is also steps away from an awesome cafe called Cafe Mar Azul (which can be found on (Hidden by Airbnb) maps for those planning to drive to the Casa Bonita). The check-in/out process was also seamless. The location is a short drive away from Tamarindo and we navigated through the area with private shuttles.

    We really enjoyed our time in Playa Grande and hope for a future opportunity to visit again and stay in Casa Bonita. Thank you Bjorn, Iris and Manfred!

    The layout and location are perfect. Our group really appreciated all the private bathrooms, and the more quiet beach while still being a short water taxi ride to Tamarindo.

    This is a wonderful house in Palm Beach Estates, Playa Grande, very near to the beach entrance and extremely well equipped. The space very comfortably fit seven people, and Iris was easy to communicate with. Manfred’s chocolate croissants are not to be missed! I highly recommend this place for anyone that has a group coming to the area.

    I’ll make your house hunt easy: stop looking at other posts–stay here. The house is a 2-minute walk to the surf. The neighborhood has everything you need: a small grocery store, multiple restaurants with really good food, and a mostly vacant beach. This place was perfect for our long weekend trip.

    Iris’ place was a perfect get away in Playa Grande. Both Iris and Manfred were very accommodating. It’s a nice and private bungalow, with quick, easy access to Tamarindo. We would definitely stay here again!

    Casa Bonita is a perfect Vacation rental. Beautiful home with a great pool and outdoor space. It has a great location just steps from one of the most spectacular, unspoiled beaches you’ll ever see. Palm Beach estates is a special little surfer community with a ton of charm. Highly recommended.

    Playa Grande is a unique community within a protected National Park which provides endangered Leatherback turtles with nesting grounds and visitors with a natural, unspoiled beach that goes on for miles.
